As the Group Accounting manager, you will have overall responsibility for the accounting function in the group. You will have a professional and coordinating responsibility for employees within international accounting.

The position reports to the CFO of the company and is part of the core finance team.

Main tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for consolidation and preparation of annual and quarterly reports at group level.
  • Responsible for tax and accounting in the group.
  • Lead and drive projects to ensure an efficient and future-oriented accounting function.
  • Handle continuous issues within accounting and taxation.
  • Report to management and be a sparring partner in the implementation of company transactions.
  • Further develop routines, processes, and systems and be the main contact person for the auditor.
  • Assist the CFO in Audit Committee and with other ad hoc matters

Work Experience and Qualifications:

  • Higher education in economics, preferably a master’s degree in accounting and auditing (MRR) or other relevant specialization.
  • 3-5 years of experience in relevant positions and/or experience from auditing.
  • Experience in accounting or auditing of listed companies is an advantage
  • Very good accounting expertise (NGAAP and IFRS) with an understanding of complex accounting relationships.
  • Works efficiently with digital systems and has good Excel skills.
  • Good language skills in Norwegian and English.
