Project Controller

Position Summary

Due to increased volume in our projects, an exciting opportunity has arisen as Project Controller. As a Project Controller your main tasks will be supporting the project managers in delivering efficient maritime projects, reporting and forecasting, monitoring risks and securing sound financial control in projects. This position will be part of our experienced Finance team and placed in our Head Office in Bergen. 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Monthly project reporting and forecasting
  • Monthly economical follow-up of projects, including cost and estimates
  • Evaluation of risk, opportunities and financial impact within the projects
  • Continuous improvement and process efficiency in projects
  • Support decision making within reporting and governance for projects
  • Project cost control
  • Internal reporting of actuals and forecast
  • Other ad-hoc tasks within the Finance team

Work experience and qualifications:

  • Master or Bachelor`s degree in relevant subjects
  • Commercial and contractual knowledge
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • Accounting skills
  • Advanced digital user
  • Knowledge in Dynamics 365 and Power BI is an advantage
  • Analytical, accurate and loyal to procedures and instructions
  • A team player with good communicative skills in both Norwegian and English 
  • Open to share knowledge and to support colleagues in the pursuit of team goals
