The overall scope of the position

Reporting to VP Global IT, the position as DevOps Engineer shall contribute to the successful development and operation of our IT operations globally. The position shall also contribute in establishing infrastructure and solutions for the company to become more data driven. It is instrumental to have the skills and knowledge for operating Microsoft IT environments in a secure and resilient way and to engage with development teams. The position work closely with the IT management, developers, and other internal and external stakeholders.

Main tasks & responsibilities

  • Manage and operate core IT systems
  • Ensure secure and continuous operation
  • Onboard, implement, and support new IT systems globally
  • Support the development of data driven insights globally
  • Support IT Projects, development teams, and vendors
  • Answer Emergency calls related to the Company’s IT system, also during off hours. This service will be based on a “best effort” practice and is covered in base salary.
  • Qualifications, education and skills
  • Relevant education at BSc level
  • Relevant experience from a similar position, preferably from an international company
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Experience with secure client, network, and authentication solutions
  • Experience with monitoring, testing, and automated build and deployment tools
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Well-organized and capable of multitasking a variety of ongoing projects and initiatives
  • Co-operate well with others, share knowledge, experience, and information, and support others in the pursuit of team goals
  • Ability to travel internationally
