Application Engineer


We are seeking a structured and experienced Application Engineer to join our Corvus team in Bergen. The position will be responsible for gathering customer requirements and designing ESS solutions based on Corvus product portfolio. The Applications Engineer is also responsible for supervising the installation and commissioning of battery instalments into the customer site.

Main areas of responsibility

  • Design system solutions based on customer requirements
  • Support our integrators with mechanical, electrical, and control system design
  • Support the risk analysis and class certification of battery installations.
  • Identify and implement areas for product and process improvement
  • Provide customer support and technical issue resolutions, both on-site and remotely


  • Bachelor`s Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering
  • 5 years+ work experience in equivalent field, preferably within the marine sector
  • Experience from power system integrations
  • Excellent digital skills and experienced user in Microsoft Office tools. Experience from Dynamics365 and/or CAD will be an advantage
  • Experience working with globally distributed project teams and customers Worldwide
  • English and Norwegian fluency, oral and written
