Frøy Stadt is a service catamaran, equipped with the latest in technology for advanced service operations, especially aimed at the aquaculture industry. To satisfy future environmental requirements, the new building has a diesel-electric propulsion system, in combination with a significant battery pack. The battery system has a capacity of 180 kWh. The vessel will only operate on battery for a significant part of the operating time, which provides a quiet and energy efficient boat in low load periods.
