Position Summary:

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Customer Service Engineer is responsible for working with customers remotely and directly to resolve issues and maintain uptime, servicing customer installations as needed, and communicating with Engineering to feed back field issues to improve product reliability and functionality.

Responsibilities:

Key tasks that the candidate will be responsible for include:

  • Work to ensure customer satisfaction with our products and services.
  • Provide support to customers and Corvus field service personnel to troubleshoot and resolve issues at customer installations.
  • Create and update customer issue tickets as needed to provide up-to-date status on assigned cases.
  • Download and analyze customer data for troubleshooting and monitoring purposes.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Hands on experience installing and testing hardware in an industrial environment.
  • Hands on mentality.
  • Previous experience with lithium-ion battery technology and systems is an asset.

Position Summary :

This is a full time, permanent engineering position within the Engineering Department reporting to the VP of Engineering.

Responsibilities:

Position Summary :

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Intermediate Buyer covers the sourcing and procurement activities with the objective of liaising Corvus production timelines with vendor schedules to ensure order details and timelines are aligned. You will create value by leveraging worldwide vendors and logistics, synchronizing supply with demand, and supporting development activities as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Using detailed BOM you will use the AVL to determine best vendor for cost, delivery and quality.
  • Buy all parts required for the projects. Monitor all parts for the projects to ensure they arrive on budget and on-time to meet manufacturing scheduling.
  • Manage all vendors with respect to performance versus schedule, pricing and quality.
  • Identify and direct vendors on best logistics methods to meet all demand by Corvus manufacturing sites.
  • Create, update and manage Purchase Orders using Corvus MRP/ERP systems.
  • Deliver feedback to all vendors and potential vendors on quality, cost, delivery and other performance criteria – KPI experience preferred.

Your primary role will be to work with the electronics and firmware teams to design the mixed signal sensory and microprocessor-based battery management systems. Responsibilities:

Work with systems engineers and team leads to architect battery management systems

  • Design both digital and analog electronic circuits for various Corvus Battery Management System components including schematic capture, board layout and build files
  • Verification of new circuit board designs, including trouble shooting and rework, build and test prototype systems, develop verification plans, and document results
  • Design the electrical interfaces of the battery packs to external equipment; ensure the designs comply with all relevant electrical codes and standards
  • Participate in DFMEAs on the battery system designs
  • Work with mechanical and software design teams to fulfill design functional and packaging requirements
  • Identify preferred components & vendors, prepare requisitions for supply chain department

  • Mechanical design of large format lithium ion battery systems, including enclosures, cooling systems, racking and all other mechanical aspects of battery systems

  • Participate in DFMEA activities
