Jan EllevsetChairman of the Board
Jan Ellevset has 35 years experience with Equinor, formerly Statoil, an upstream oil and gas company in Norway. Within Equinor he has been working with small technology companies and commercialization of technology for 25 years. He is now working for Equinor Technology Ventures, whose mission is to invest in small, innovative technology companies that have a technology that can improve Statoil’s operations. Jan holds multiple Board positions in various technology companies and has a Masters in Economics and Business Administration from Business School in Bergen, Norway.

 

Nick Andrews
Nick Andrews works with companies to create value for shareholders and employees, through working with corporate management to implement effective financing, corporate and legal objectives. Over the past 20 years, he has owned, developed and sold clean energy companies, and now serves on a number of private company boards.  Prior to his career in clean energy, Nick worked as an investment banker for Deutsche Bank and Bankers Trust in New York and Toronto. He holds a degree in Economics from McGill University, an MBA from the Rotman School of Management, and a law degree from the University of Toronto.

 

Martin Diernisse
Martin Diernisse is part of BW Group, a global maritime company involved in oil and gas production and shipping with a fleet of more than 180 vessels. Based in Copenhagen, Martin manages a portfolio of clean-tech venture investments focused on maritime innovation as Head of BW Ventures. With a background in management consulting, Martin brings extensive experience in strategy development and execution including hands-on management of scaleup companies. Martin holds a Master in Finance and Strategic Management from Copenhagen Business School.

 

Sam Ketcham
Sam Ketcham is Managing Partner of Ketcham Capital, LLC, a private investment firm with interests in emerging information technologies, energy and real estate. Previously, he was a Vice President and Officer of West Fraser Timber Company, the world’s largest lumber producer. He currently serves as a Director of West Fraser as well as various private portfolio companies, and as a Trustee of various charitable organizations including Rainier Scholars, The Seattle Art Museum and the International Council of New York City’s Museum of Modern Art. Sam holds a Bachelors in American History from Tufts University, and completed Stanford University’s Executive Business Program.

 

Morten Roesaeg
Morten Roesaeg is a Senior Vice President responsible for Business Development – New Technologies and a member of the Energy Management Group in Norsk Hydro. Morten has more than 30 years experience from various positions within Norsk Hydro related to project management and industrial chemicals, including Head of Power Operations and Head of Energy Supply & Development. Morten has a Masters in Chemical Engineering from NTNU in Trondheim, Norway and has experience from several Board positions.
